It is with great pride that we introduce the 171 members of the ASSIST Class of 2016/17 - Our largest Class ever!
  • They come from 19 countries
  • 88 full scholarships and 83 partial scholarships were awarded
  • They will attend 90 of America's finest independent secondary schools, located in 29 states
To shape the Class of 2016/17, ASSIST's recruitment and interview teams traveled around the world. From a pool of 1,360 applications, 770 finalists were invited to an interview, and 171 were accepted as ASSIST Scholars (a 13% acceptance rate). Each member of the Class was carefully chosen for his or her impressive academic credentials, strong English skills, engaging personality and strength of character, leadership potential, and notable talents.
 
This year we have 34 Sponsored Scholars from Bulgaria (11), Croatia (2), Czech Republic (3), Hungary (2), Lithuania (6), Moldova (1), Poland (1), Serbia (3), Slovakia (2), and Somaliland (3). We appreciate all of our sponsors, who are listed below:
