Director of Alumni Relations

Director of Alumni Relations

Mrs. Boyse currently resides in Düsseldorf, Germany, where her husband, Matt, is assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.  From 2006-2009, she lived in Düsseldorf, Germany, where her husband was the U.S. Consul General. She has had a long association with independent schools, having graduated from the Kent School in Connecticut. Two of her children graduated from The Hotchkiss School in Connecticut, and her youngest son is at Groton School, near Boston.

During more than 20 years of living overseas, Mrs. Boyse has organized and hosted many alumni events for her schools and those of her children. While living in New Delhi, India from 2002-2005, she started an Alumni Group for the Johns Hopkins School of International Studies (SAIS).

Eleanore holds a BA in English from Tulane University, New Orleans, and an MA in International Affairs from SAIS in Washington, DC.  She is a former Presidential Management Fellow at the Department of State.  Among her many other activities during a life abroad, she has also written for the Fodor’s Travel Guide subsidiary of Random House.

According to ASSIST President Bob Stanley, “Eleanore Boyse brings the perfect blend of experiences and instincts to this position. She is an imaginative, gracious and enthusiastic person who enjoys helping others to connect and has lived her life as a citizen of the world. We are confident that alumni will gravitate to her as she connects them with ASSIST.”

While Eleanore's initial work with ASSIST has centered in Germany, home to 2,300 of 3,600 ASSIST alumni,  plans call for expanding her work to create alumni networks worldwide.
