ASSIST London Alumni Club Gathers Again
By Yizhou Ren Germany Taft School ’05 Notwithstanding a looming credit crunch and many essay deadlines, last November, twelve Assist alumni merrily got together in a cocktail bar in Soho, London. Sipping a few “La Cucaracha”s or beers, we – students from LSE, SOAS and Oxford, bankers and lawyers – met old friends and made new ones, exchanged numbers and business cards, reminisced old Assist days and promised to reunite soon in the new year! Please contact me at yizhouren@hotmail.com if you would like to be included in future London Club activities. | | Pictured, from the left: Peter Kulak (St. Andrew’s School ’04, LSE Uni), Niklas Heusch (Dublin School ’05, Oxford Uni), Yizhou Ren (Taft School ’05, LSE Uni), Felix Koenig (McCallie School ’05, Oxford Uni), Hanns Kendel (McCallie School ’05, SOAS Uni), Jan Buschmann (Darlington School ’98, Lovells), Diana Koester (Bosque School ’05, LSE Uni) | | | Pictured, from the left: Joachim Thraen (Northfield Mount Harmon ’03, LSE Uni), Alice Thraen (Indian Springs School ’02, visiting), Jonas Rave (Albuquerque Academy ’01, Goldman Sachs), Niklas Heusch (Dublin School ’05, Oxford Uni) | | | Pictured, from the left: Stevie Schumacher (Cranbrook Schools ’99, Barclays), Jan Buschmann (Darlington School ’98, Lovells), David Powell (European Seminar ’97, Bank of America) |
