Name The Newsletter Contest
The Editorial Board of International Perspectives recently discovered how engaging the name of our newsletter is – another organization is already using it! As the other organization has a prior claim on the name, we have decided to rename our newsletter. This is one of several marketing initiatives being undertaken by ASSIST, many of which will be rolled out for the 2007/08 academic year. You will be enthused by the direction we are taking.

As we prepare to re-launch the newsletter (new name, new and expanded format, more comprehensive news), we will also be redesigning the ASSIST web site – and aligning all of the affiliate web sites that represent ASSIST worldwide. As a first step in this important process, we will take time now to consider unique and engaging titles for our “e-publication.”
Therefore, we invite all readers of International Perspectives to join the Name the Newsletter Contest!

Please e-mail Bob Stanley (bob@assist-inc.org) with your wildly imaginative new name for our electronic newsletter. The innovator with the response that is selected shall receive:
• An ASSIST Orientation Staff t-shirt
• An ASSIST pin
• An ASSIST clock
• Other prizes too impressive to mention here

Please submit your potential winning entry by November 30, 2007. If chosen, you will not only receive these valuable prizes – you will also become part of ASSIST lore, and help us launch the marketing work that will carry us into the future.
