Welcome to ASSIST in Germany

ASSIST became active in Germany to help young German students currently in the 10th grade who would like to spend one year as exchange students in the United States as 11th graders.  There are also opportunities available to students entering the 10th grade.

Our work in Germany began in the 1969/70 academic year. Our first German scholars distinguished themselves in their American independent schools, and ultimately over 2500 German students have studied in the States under our auspices.

Application Process for 2012/13 Scholarships
All initial applications for ASSIST scholarships for German students are received in Germany.
