Welcome to ASSIST in the Czech Republic

ASSIST became active in the Czech Republic to help young Czech students currently in the 10th or 11th grades who would like to spend one year as exchange students in the United States as 11th graders.

Our work in the Czech Republic began in the 1994/95 academic year. Our first Czech scholars distinguished themselves in their American independent schools, and ultimately 89 Czech students have studied in the States under our auspices.  It is through the generosity of our partner, the Open Foundation Fund-Prague, that this scholarship competition is made possible.

Application Process for 2012/13 Scholarships
All initial applications for ASSIST scholarships for Czech students are received through our partner, Open Society Fund Prague.  Scholarships are also offered to boarding schools in the UK through our colleagues of the Headmasters and Headmistresses Conference (HMC).
