Welcome! This is the home page of ASSIST, a nonprofit educational and cultural exchange organization that sponsors student and teacher exchange among 14 countries and the United States.         

We connect outstanding students and future leaders from around the world with American independent schools of stature.

Our primary purpose is to identify, select, place and support outstanding young people between 15 and 18 years of age from all parts of the world who wish to spend one school year as student ambassadors in American independent schools. We also offer opportunities for American students and teachers from member schools to study abroad.
